I don't know if I'm going to update my LJ anymore. I've been spending most of my time on Tumblr lately, and frankly I like it a lot better over there.

I'll still try to come around and leave the occasional comment.

Feel free to unfriend me, if that's what you want to do.

I WILL NEVER STOP LISTENING TO THIS. NEVER. (I haven't even seen How to Train Your Dragon. I absolutely don't care. I'm already in love with the music.)



I wish this movie had been around back when I was in seventh grade, during my ALL DRAGONS ALL THE TIME FOREVER phase. (Incidentally, I've now returned to that phase. Just so y'all know. I may never shut up about dragons again.)

I don't know if anyone on my f'list watches Switched at Birth. But I've noticed there's a lot of hate going around, and I kind of wanted to address it.

None of the SAB characters are likeable 100% of the time. I get that. They're not supposed to be. Especially Bay (Vanessa Marano) -- who can be selfish and sometimes says all the wrong things. She's only human, and she's right in the middle of a horribly difficult situation. She may be my favorite character, but I'm not blind to her flaws.

A lot of the hate is a result of the Bay-Emmett (Sean Berdy) pairing. I like the pairing, personally, but I understand why some people don't. That said, what is the use of wasting energy complaining about something that isn't going to change?

Because that's not the point of fandom...or have I just been missing something all this time?

So this is part one of my WIP ghost story! Enjoy.
